Sandy Asirvatham is a writer and musician, whom I’ve worked with numerous times over the past 3 years. The experience of photographing Sandy has also been a beautiful opportunity to get to know Sandy. It was through spending time, listening to her music and learning more about her and her work as a musician & writer, that this vision entered my mind.
This experience taught me that nothing is impossible in this work, not even finding a free piano and hauling it onto a field, with a dilapidated barn as the backdrop. It was a magical experience to say the least.
